Basis of sunflower seed acceptance quality
The basis of seed quality acceptance means the following: acceptance is carried out after incoming quality control and evaluation of basic indicators.
Below are the quality criteria for sunflower seeds that affect the final acceptance price:
Oil Content
Price calculation depends on the seed’s test weight; the final price is determined by converting to net weight:

Impurities and Moisture
According to DSTU (baseline) for sunflower seeds: impurities – 3%, moisture – 8%.
Maximum permissible values (actual) that influence the acceptance price: impurities – 6%, moisture – 9%.
When the basic indicators change, the price is calculated using the Duval formula:
% (actual – base) / (100% – base) * 100%
Testing Methodology
Indicators are evaluated by the plant’s own laboratory. Test samples are taken from at least two different spots in the truck body.
